About the project

A diagnostic library built around observable symptoms.

Sprinkler Fix Lab helps U.S. homeowners understand what a residential irrigation system is doing before they replace a part, dig a trench, or request service.

Our purpose

Most sprinkler searches begin with a symptom—not a part number. Our guides therefore start by asking whether a problem affects one head, one zone, several zones, or the entire system. That pattern removes unlikely causes and creates a more useful order of checks.

What we publish

  • Symptom-first troubleshooting guides
  • Calculators with visible assumptions
  • Model-specific controller and valve guidance
  • Maintenance, water-efficiency, and repair-cost references

What we do not claim

The site is an independent educational resource, not a licensed irrigation contractor, utility, manufacturer, or emergency service. A page cannot inspect buried pipe, verify local code, or make an unsafe repair safe.

Images and demonstrations

Some explanatory images are AI-generated and are reviewed for plausible component layout before publication. They are visual aids, not proof that a specific repair was personally performed. We label generated reference imagery when it appears in editorial content.
